Create 11 Different Content Types to Plan Content for One Year Ahead

There are a lot of content types that vary according to their outline and the goals they are written to achieve. Making a mix between more than one content type in your website or blog keeps your readers interested in your website.
However, it may be a bit difficult to gather all the content types and choose between them. So, I created this blog post to list the most used 11 content types that you have to choose among when you create your plan content for one year ahead.
Here are the 11 content types:
It may be confusing to differentiate between them, so I gathered them here to see the characteristics and differences:
#1 Comparison Posts
One of my best content types is the comparison posts. In such posts, you usually compare any two things that have some similarities and differences. They might be two ideas, tools, websites or else depending on your niche.
This is an amazing way to help your readers choose and make reasonable decisions.
Comparison posts require deep research about the compared items and then putting things next to each other to show which is better.
Make sure to use numbers, bullets, images and other special elements to make things clearer to the readers.
#2 Product reviews
Recent research proved that 70% of online buyers search for product reviews on Google and read at least two reviews for a certain product before they buy it.
This would be a good reason to create product reviews for products in your niche. Share your ideas about the product in a blog post or video, and you can add your affiliate link.
Make some research before you start. Don’t forget to mention the pros and cons, features, images and videos so you can deliver a clear and honest review to your audience.
#3 How-to Tutorials
People read online tutorials to learn something new. So, they’ll appreciate reading your how-to tutorials and learning from you.
Your tutorials must be clear and easy to follow. You should also add many images and videos, so your readers can follow what you do.
#4 List Articles (Listicles)
List posts are articles that count a few things has similar characteristics like this article’s 11 different content types. Here, I list the best 11 content types for bloggers. People like this kind of blog post, so don’t worry about readers. You’ll get many of them.
Make sure that your list is exciting and well-researched.
#5 Templates & Resources
Readers usually search for a lot of info, so they prefer to read blog posts filled with valuable resources and templates. This makes things easier for them, so they don’t waste time looking for templates and resources.
When writing a blog post, keep in mind that your post must fulfil the readers’ needs, so you have to add all the links to all the resources and templates mentioned in your post to help them reach them fast.
Make sure to write specific info and make them easy to follow.
Here is an example of a list blogspot: the best content marketing templates for affiliate marketing.
#6 Ultimate Guides
Ultimate guides are very long blog posts written to discuss all the aspects of a certain topic. You need to make a lot of research and get a deep knowledge of the topic so you can write a perfect guide that covers everything related to your topic.
#7 Toolkits
Every business requires certain tools to make it run better, and people usually look for toolkits that recommend a lot of valuable tools.
Posting email marketing toolkits, social media management toolkits and more attracts a lot of readers. Such blog posts usually make affiliate sales and commissions as well.
#8 Story Content Types
I love stories, you love stories, and people love stories, but not everyone can write a good story that grabs the readers’ attention.
However, if you have this talent, you must write stories on your blog and enjoy the readers’ comments.
Do you know StarterStory.Com? This is a stories’ website with thousands of readers every month. I even wrote my personal story about building H-Supertools on this website.
#9 Case Studies
While a story usually tells what someone did, a case study is similar but with more real data as I have on my website H-educate.com and YouTube channel.
I test new strategies and talk about them in detail providing data, screenshots and more to back up my point and experience.
People look for case studies related to their niche, tools they’ll buy, websites they’ll subscribe in and more before making a decision. So, please write only real case studies and provide a lot of data to make them clear.
#10 eBooks
eBooks are content but not for your website. They work better as lead generation tools.
Free eBooks provide value to your audience in exchange for capturing their contact information.
When creating an eBook, make sure to make it relevant to your niche, add your affiliate links and add links to your blog posts and social links.
You can find many eBooks on H-Educate that attract an audience and help me get some affiliate commissions.
#11 User-Generated Content (UGC)
UGC is the content which your audience creates for you. If you have a forum, your audience will publish posts written by them on your forum on your website.
This kind of content is called UGC, User Generated Content.
This will get you money without a lot of effort as I did with my forum H-Educate Forums.
